The app can store aquarium names and profiles, water-test results, livestock and equipment records, notes, alert targets, camera-stream URLs, and photos you choose. TealWire does not receive these records.

Privacy policy
Effective July 25, 2026. A plain-language explanation of how the TealWire Android app handles your aquarium information.
Where information is stored
Aquarium records are kept in a private SQLite database on your Android device. Selected photos are copied into app-managed storage on that device. The current app has no TealWire account or cloud database.
Network connections
Internet access is used only for features you choose, including secure aquarium-camera streams, external livestock reference links, video playback, Android sharing, and the app’s font resources. Reef records are not uploaded to TealWire.
Sharing and export
The app exports CSV data only when you request it and choose an Android sharing destination. Camera streams and external links connect directly from your device to the service or address you select. Those destinations have their own privacy practices.
Retention and deletion
Records remain on your device until you delete them, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app. Clearing storage or uninstalling can permanently remove local records and app-managed photos. CSV exports preserve measurements and notes, but do not currently package original photos.
No ads or data sale
The current release contains no advertising SDK or TealWire analytics service. TealWire does not sell personal information collected through the app because the app does not transmit your reef records to TealWire.
Children
Ultimate Reef Tracker is a general aquarium-management tool and is not directed to children under 13. TealWire does not knowingly collect children’s personal information through the app.

This policy may be updated when app features change. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date. For assistance, use the support information shown on the app’s Google Play listing or visit the TealWire support page.

Your reef history stays with you.
The current app stores aquarium information locally and requires no TealWire account.
